The CSRs outside my office were having pizza hut catered in, which made me crave pizza… so Ray and I went out for good pizza. Mmmm Garlic-y.

It’s hard to find a better piece of pie in the Chattahoochee Valley. The Banana Farm’s pear pie is a favorite at all special events and family gatherings. The recipe is a so secretive that the chef won’t even share it with this humble blogger.

This week on Food Network, Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives visited Becky’s Diner in Portland, Maine. Well, that just happens to be where I be stayin… um, anyway… So thanks to my buddy @stevensock for sending me a tweet when he watched the show, so that I could go eat WAY too much good food.

I had the lobster… and it was goooood. Already pulled so I didn’t have to work for it, dipped in butter, and accompanied by a modest baked potato. For dessert was a tasty apple crumble with vanilla bean ice cream. Mmmmm

My wife bought me these deliciously small pies from a Fall Festival yesterday. This is only about 3 inches wide and yum yum!
