Unique Food – Crab Candy – Hong Kong, China

If you are “Simpsons” fan, you remember the episode where Homer had to choose between drinking “Mountain Dew” or crab juice. He wisely chose the crab juice. If you thought that was weird, think again.

On my way back from Hong Kong, we spent our final cash on food, of course. Here’s one of them, which I consider them as small, crab candy. If you look closely at the ingredients (crab, flour, honey, sugar, salt), you’ll see why.

Think of it as a mini, soft-shell crab with a crispy, candy shell. Quite unique in taste, which is not fishy at all. Not to mention, they are quite addicting like kettle popcorn, honey-roasted peanuts, or Prinkles chips. Great with a glass of beer!
