I love hole-in-the-wall restaurants. There are many in San Francisco, this being one of them, which serves organic sausages. Gotta love California and its eating habits! Also this place is opened by Asian American with a “green” business model. Gotta love California and its culture!
Small, but has everything you need to enjoy your organic franks!
Condiments (sauerkraut, onions, relish, mustard, ketchup) to the left and all of them are organic as well.
I ordered the “Underdog”, their signature, grass-fed, organic beef hot dog, on a wheat bun. As you expect in a hot dog, its pump and juicy, but also it taste great! They have other dogs too, such as “Roasted Garlic”, “Fire-Roasted Peppers”, “Chicken Apple”, “Spinach Feta”, and “Andouille”, all made of organic meat. However, they have veggie/vegan dogs as well!
Instead of ordering fries, which they don’t have (they have organic tater-totes though), I bought this, which is a-maizing! This of it as organic Corn Nuts!
“Gladcorn” in its natural form. Doesn’t look too processed to me!
Good to see a place that takes their food and environment seriously. You can check them out at http://underdogorganic.com/
