Casian Grill – Renton, WA

When I passed by this place in Downtown Renton, I thought to myself, “That’s clever. But how does the food taste?” Well, let’s find out!

Their menu.

Cosy bar area with a great view of the liquors among other things surrounded by paintings of famous movie starts from Elvis to Angelina Jolie.

I haven’t had catfish in a while. When I looked at their “Casian Catfish” entree, I’m there. All I can say, I love that catfish. That “Casian” batter is amazing; looks and tastes like cornmeal. Don’t be fooled. It’s not oily at all, yet it’s still moist. Completely satisfying meal.

I had to come back for more. One of the waitress recommended her favorite dish: “Mi Bo Luc Lac Filet Mignon”, which is “Shaken Filet Mignon over egg noodles and side of soup”. I would have to agree. But so far I prefer the catfish, because of its unique batter!

Don’t worry. I’ll be back for more…
